Vacationland 2009 travel magazine published a guide for the Blue Water Area recently, one of the things that they covered was places to stay in and around the St. Clair area. Pictured below is a portion of that page. Many of the St. Clair locations are great, small-town, historical places which everyone should try, rather than your standard hotel/motel setting.

The economic down fall that we’ve been experiencing may have been the catalyst we needed for this great new venture of the Great Lakes being a motion picture hub. Not just the Great Lakes, but why not St Clair!?

I have heard from many within the real estate industry as well as from buyers and sellers, that the property won’t appraise. It’s true! Hollywood is coming to Detroit. The purchase of GM’s Centerpoint Complex, a 22 acre site, has formally closed.

It seems as though the tax credit has been approved for some closing costs, but not all. There also seems to be ways of receiving this credit up front, however, it would be advisable to seek the advice of an accountant on this matter.
