Moore Woods, located in the city of St. Clair, is one of only a few MNA sanctuaries within city limits. This site is dominated by oak-hickory forests and wetlands. We hope you will enjoy these large mature woodlands and that you have a chance to catch a glimpse of the great horned owls or rose-breasted grosbeaks that call this place home.
The Moore family, longtime benefactors of MNA and of St. Clair, bought these woods in the 1930s and kept them intact before donating them to MNA in 1990.
