The economic down fall that we’ve been experiencing may have been the catalyst we needed for this great new venture of the Great Lakes being a motion picture hub. Not just the Great Lakes, but why not St Clair!?

St Clair would be the perfect place for a movie. We all remember the movie “Somewhere in Time” that was filmed on Mackinac Island. That movie was not only a great flick because of the actors and actresses but the Michigan scenery was absolutely beautiful. Most would concur that St Clair is equally as beautiful and even quainter. There’s also diversity with the homes on the St Clair River either being big & bold, older & nostalgic, or very cottage like. St Clair also offers different types of style neighborhoods; from the very quaint downtown neighborhoods to the newer more spacious subdivisions like the Highlands, River Ridge Estates and River Pointe Estates.
Not to mention our biggest asset the St Clair River, located between Lake Huron and Lake St Clair. St Clair also features the longest freshwater boardwalk, one of the safe harbors in the great lakes area, as well as a wealth of history. Heck we even have a book published about St Clair’s history. So let’s do our part and tell anyone and everyone what a great place St Clair is, and make it infamous in a Hollywood movie.
